In early 2019, 174 Power Global began construction of a 150MWac solar facility in Ector County Texas on approximately 1,200 acres of private land. Energy from the project will be sold into the ERCOT market under a financial energy hedge with JP Morgan. More than 560,000 Hanwha Q Cells modules will be installed on the project site. Once complete in March of 2020, this Power plant will generate 180 megawatts, enough electricity to power more than 30,000 Texas homes annually.
