Completed: December 2019
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Scale: 9 MWdc

The Imeson Solar and Storage project is a 9.2MWdc photovoltaic (PV) solar array with a 1.5MW/3.8MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The project supplies power under a long term PPA to JEA (local public utility supplying the Jacksonville electric market) and delivers power on their distribution grid system through a 5MWac point of interconnection. The project is located on 66 acres of land in the northwestern region of Jacksonville, Florida utilizing approximately 53 acres for the solar PV and storage facility. The project is one of the first utility-scaled DC-coupled solar energy storage projects in the U.S and became operational in December 2019.
