This 54,200 sq. ft. storage facility in Port Morris, the Bronx, first decided to go solar in 2015 to cut down on monthly electricity costs. Later, following the announcement of New York’s Community Solar model, the client quickly sought to convert their existing solar system to a Community Solar Farm. In converting the 375 kW solar system to a Community Solar Farm, 174 Power Global created over 14 local jobs and proudly commissioned the first ever Community Solar Farm to come online in the Bronx.

The solar energy generated at this location currently supplies 67 community off-takers, spanning all 5 NYC boroughs, ranging from a church to renters to a yoga studio in Manhattan.
